An Inspirational & Independent Art Studio Teaching All Manner Of Arts And Crafts
We run daily, term-time children’s classes for 7-19 year olds.
During the holidays we run workshops and courses for adults and children.
Check the ‘Events’ section to see what’s on! You’ll not only get information about these, but the option to purchase a ticket(s) and secure your place(s) too!
Please feel free to reach out about anything art-related via the ‘Contact’ section!
The daily classes are unstructured to allow for creative flow - this means that every student can work on their own individual project.
These can be extremely varied and diverse.
Sculpting and pottery, needlework, embroidery, fabric art and sewing, mixed media, fine art, drawing techniques and painting (with a vast array of different paint types) are just a few of the activities ….. the list is truly endless!
The studio is fully stocked with every conceivable art product and these are available to all students.
Tuition, materials and stock are all included in the price of the class and every completed piece is yours to keep.
Each class has a maximum of eight students attending to ensure everyone receives the guidance and support they need.
Classes not only provide a vital creative outlet and freedom of expression, but are also therapeutic and additionally, a good way to form friendships and bonds with likeminded people.
The timetables for the daily classes are listed below.

Earlier this year I was completely surprised by being awarded a prize after being nominated for services to the local community. It was an absolute honour and one of my most treasured moments.
Rowan is our other teacher, sharing the week with myself. Fully trained and highly skilled, Rowan’s ability to engage, relax and inspire young students is a valuable asset to the studio. An art graduate with a long history of close association with the studio, her enthusiasm, vast pool of knowledge and energy is a wonderful addition to our already happy community. Rowan’s teaching philosophy echoes the ethos of the work we do and her gentle nature creates a warm and happy environment.
This is a magical, therapeutic and wonderful experience for making gifts, Christmas decorations, keepsakes or, as an actual (early) Christmas present for someone special. High quality clay is supplied to create your pieces, then they’re dried and bisque-fired in our kiln. Your second visit will be to refine and decorate your piece(s) with top quality glazes and then the final kiln firing will take place. Collection of pieces will be afterwards, on an arranged date - before Christmas. The price covers both dates of your experience. We’re excited to see you there!
